another: i was introduced to buster Keaton in my history of film class at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. I can only say that from that moment on, it was love. there is no other word to describe it. this is only a clip from one of his shorts.
and… another: a very loved second-hand book store, Nijinski’s, is closing its doors in its current location in Brussels. I spent a lot of time popping in and out to see the new books that had found their way into the shop on my way to and from work. an end-of-the-year gift from yoga students meant I had some precious cash in my wallet… and I found this old version of lewis carroll’s complete works. it is riveting. and the drawings are … as you see… beautiful. a few days after my new acquisition, I came across the largest caterpillar I had ever seen – video below.
